Management consulting services

I. Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

We support our clients in meeting legal and regulatory requirements driven by the expectations of stakeholders by providing guidance and expertise that:

  • risks and opportunities of business objectives are identified and managed;
  • assets are adequately safeguarded;
  • financial reporting is reliable; and

We specialize in internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) compliance, including anti-fraud and forensic accounting activities/investigations, where our expertise can add significant value to our clients, among other legal and compliance activities. Our proprietary internal control (IC) approach meets the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) as well as European Union (EU), and national directives or other compliance-related requirements, and includes the following services:

  • analysis and implementation of IC processes while benchmarking it to Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) frameworks;
  • gap analysis of control activities based on a proprietary risk-based approach;
  • assessment of effectiveness and efficiency of the existing IC processes to commend improvements to internal control designs at an optimal cost vs. benefit ratio while at the same time meeting mandated requirements;
  • continuous improvement initiatives, whereby manual control activities can be minimized and automated ones maximized, and detective controls can be reduced while preventive ones increased optimizing cost vs. benefit ratio of maintaining an effective IC process;
